The Sheikh Muhammad Mahmûd Al Tablawi (the co-chief of recitors and the recitor of Al Jamiê Al Shariff Mosque) was born on the 14th of November in 1934 in Mayt âqaba village the centre of Imbaba in Al Jiza.
His father wished his son be among Ahl Al Qurâan, thus, he subscribed him in Al Kouttab of the Village. He began getting in touch with Koran at the age of four and by the age of ten he had already finished the learning of the holy book.
Reaching his fifteen years old, he was often invited to recite Koran in the funerals of the elite of the region or to recite for well known families.
Mohamed Tablawi became famous thanks to his career in television and his musical sense. They (him and Sheikh Abdul Bassir) earned a great success in the radio between the year 1975 and 1980.
He did two full records of the holy Koran (Muratâ and Mujâwâd).
He travelled to eighty countries; He was either invited, or on a mission to some Islamic countries, or to represent his own country (Egypt) in multiple conferences, or to judge several international tests concerning Koran recitation.
